梨是梨屬(學名:Pyrus)植物的通稱,通常是一種落葉喬木或灌木,極少數品種為常綠,屬於薔薇目薔薇科蘋果族。葉片多呈卵形,大小因品種不同而各異。梨的果實通常用來食用,不僅味美汁多,甜中帶酸,而且營養豐富,含有多種維生素和纖維素,不同種類的梨味道和質感都完全不同。梨既可生食,也可蒸煮後食用。除了作為水果食用以外,梨還可以作觀賞之用。
